Where to get Infinity Blade in Fortnite
Finding the legendary Infinity Blade in Fortnite depends entirely on which game mode you are playing. While it was famously vaulted shortly after its debut in 2018, it has made a grand return for a limited time in January 2026 as part of the "Fortnite OG" updates.
Here is the breakdown of how to find this Mythic weapon right now.
1. Fortnite OG (Chapter 1 Map)
In the current 2026 OG rotation, the Infinity Blade is back in its original home.
- The Location: Head to the center of Polar Peak (the snow-covered mountain in the southwest quadrant of the map).
- How to Claim It: Look for a pedestal buried in the snow in the courtyard area. You must hold the interact button for approximately 5 seconds to pull the sword from the stone.
- The Risks: Because it is the most powerful weapon on the map, half the lobby usually lands here. You will need to fight off dozens of players before you can even attempt to pull it out.
2. Creative Mode & UEFN
If you aren't playing Battle Royale, you can still use the Infinity Blade in various player-made maps or your own private world.
- Your Own Island: Open your Creative Inventory, navigate to the "Devices" or "Weapons" tab, and search for the Infinity Blade. You can place it on a Weapon Spawner or an Item Spawner.
- Public Maps: Many "Sword Box Fight" or "Mythic Only" Creative maps feature the blade. You can find these by searching for "Infinity Blade" in the Discover tab.
What the Infinity Blade Does
Once you pick up the blade, your gameplay changes significantly:
- Stats: You instantly gain 200 Health and 200 Shields.
You also regenerate 1 HP per second.
- The Trade-off: You cannot carry any other weapons or items (except building materials).
Picking up the blade instantly drops your entire inventory.
- Abilities:
- Primary Slash: Deals 75 damage and destroys structures instantly.
- Leap Attack: A secondary fire that launches you forward, dealing 25 damage upon landing and knocking back enemies.
Warning: Wielding the blade makes you a massive target.
Every player on the map will see your location marked, and in the current meta, players are very skilled at "bleeding" blade-wielders from a distance using ARs and Snipers.
